Footprint

The footprint of an Aestiva Power Office solution (the hard-disk space used) is the disk space used for the Aestiva Array engine, Power Office application files, system cache files (files used during program execution), database records, plus file attachments, if any.

Aestiva's binary engine plus application files take about 10 Megabytes. Space occupied by Aestiva's system caching files depends on user activity which depends on the number of forms processed per day. If your automation uses one electronic form design then your database will typically stay under one Gigabyte in size.

A chart showing recommended hard-disk space availability is shown below. Hard disk space usage will vary.

Space for Attachments
If you will be attaching files to electronic forms then allow space for the attachments. The chart below assumes a ratio of 10-to-1 for file attachments vs. database allocation.
